Serbian stamps: Issue plan 2026

Serbian Law on postal services (art. 74) provides that in the current year, Minister responsible for postal services shall establish a plan for the issuance of commemorative postage stamps, as well as the motives for regular issues of postage stamps to be issued in the coming year.

According to official plan, in 2026 we can expect these commemorative issues:

The issue plan containes sketches of definitives that could be issued during the year. Comparing to previous years, EXPO 2027 Belgrade and St. Sava Temple in Belgrade remained in the plan. Children's online safety and all flowers and fruits designs were removed (with the exception of chicory flower design).

The following designs of new regluar stamps are added to the plan:

- State flag of Republic of Serbia

- New flowers designs - Natalie's ramonda (Ramonda nathaliae), peony (Paeonia) and poppy (Papaver roheas). These flowers also have symbolic meaning in Serbian history.
